Start with the load

Rated load should reflect the heaviest intended load, including how goods are handled and whether pallets, carts, forklifts or other equipment enter the cabin.

Consider traffic and duty

Industrial lifts can experience different duty cycles from passenger lifts. Frequency of use, loading method, door dimensions, cabin materials and protection against the site environment should be specified.

Define the building conditions

Pit, headroom, shaft size, landing arrangement, power supply, environmental conditions and access for maintenance all affect the system configuration.

Build a complete technical enquiry

A good RFQ combines load, speed, travel, stops, entrances, cabin dimensions, door type, operating conditions and required documentation. This reduces clarification cycles and improves quotation comparability.
